The one-rule chain
Every card carries three traits — colour, shape, pips. Each card you add must change exactly one of them. Simple to read, hard to master.
DRIFT is a daily puzzle built on a single rule: every card you play must change exactly one trait — colour, shape, or pip count — from the card before it. Chain them up, bank before Decay finds your best line, and score length squared. Everyone gets the same deck each day, so a higher score means you genuinely out-thought it. No accounts, no ads, no network — it runs entirely on your phone.

Bank a chain and it scores its length squared: a 3-chain is 9, a 6-chain is 36. Long lines are worth far more — if you can hold your nerve.
Decay cards hide in the deck and trim your longest live chain. Prisms are wild and link to anything. Watch the counter and decide: push, or bank?
Each day is seeded, so every player faces an identical deck and an identical target score. Your result is a shareable, spoiler-free emoji grid.
A 30-stage Journey across three regions (The Shallows, The Reach, The Maelstrom) with up to three stars each, plus Endless mode for fresh decks any time. Climb seven Mastery ranks, earn medals, and unlock 9 achievements and 7 colour themes.
No account. No ads. No tracking. No network connections at all — DRIFT works on a plane, and every scrap of progress stays on your phone.
Colour is a game trait, so DRIFT ships an optional colourblind letter cue and a high-contrast palette, plus VoiceOver labels, Reduce Motion support, and Dynamic Type on its reading text.
